From the German test to your certificate – this is how it works

You can register for a German test by completing our online registration form or contacting us directly via email. Click on the language level you wish to take an exam in. If you are unsure what your current language level is, we offer a free placement test.

 

Our German tests usually take place on Mondays. If you click on your desired language level, you can check when the next exam date is available. If you cannot attend the available exam dates, please contact us by phone or send us an email with alternative dates and we will see whether we can arrange a language exam on your preferred date.

If you live in Chemnitz, you must attend the German language test in person unless you are unable to do so for good reason. If you live outside Chemnitz, we also offer the option to take the German language exam online. For this, you will need a stable internet connection and a computer or laptop with a camera and a microphone.

All our examiners are certified by the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).

After completing the German language exam, it usually takes a week for your exam to be assessed and the results to be available. Then we will inform you that your certificate is ready to be collected from our office, or if you live far away, we will post it to you.
